Crafted Through Generations
The Roots of Ballinteggart
This is where it all began. In 1909, Thomas George (T.G.) Troughton was born on the family estate of Ballinteggart House in County Armagh. Nestled in the heart of Northern Ireland’s Orchard County, the estate has remained in the family ever since — and continues to be our home and heartland today.
Generations of Craft
From the early days, the Troughton family built a reputation for hard work, quality, and local pride. The estate became a hive of production, powered by community and tradition. These were the hands that began crafting what would become a legacy of great taste.
The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far
Living in the Orchard County, apples were more than just fruit — they were a way of life. Our family’s dedication to cider, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar was forged through decades of seasonal harvests, hands-on craft, and a deep love for the land.
From Orchard to Opportunity
With eyes on the future and roots still deep in the past, the family began exploring new horizons. The business grew while staying true to its independent spirit. Every new step was built on the same values of quality, authenticity, and innovation.
Raising Spirits, Naturally
Now led by T.G.’s son Philip and his family, we continue to craft our premium non-alcoholic drinks and mixers on the Ballinteggart estate, home of our well-known Armagh Cider Company. From spring water sourced on-site to every bottle filled by hand, quality is in every drop. We honour tradition while pushing boundaries — creating drinks for good times, quiet moments, and everything in between.
